The 8 Rules of Metabolic Balance®: Your Guide to Balanced Nutrition and Optimal Health
Metabolic Balance ® is a personalised nutrition program that I offer at my clinic and it’s by far one of the most effective forms of treatment I use. To check out what the program is head here.
While your plan is personalised to you, there are 8 fundamental rules all Metabolic Balancers follow. As a little taster for what to expect, I’ve outlined these rules below. Feel free to start them today. Just be aware that this is not all of Metabolic Balance, these are just the principles. It’s the personalised nutrition plan thats the real game changer.
Rule #1- Eat exactly 3 meals a day.
Rule #2- After each meal, allow at least 5hrs before eating again
Rule #3- Do not allow any meal to last longer than 60mins
Rule #4- Begin each meal with two bites of protein
Rule #5- With each meal, eat only one form of protein and you must eat three different types of protein each day.
Rule #6- Don’t eat after 8pm
Rule #7- Over the course of the day, drink at least the amount of water calculated for you (if you don’t have your plan, aim for 2L).
Rule #8- Eat an apple a day with your meal or following dinner as dessert
As you can see , there is nothing particularly complicated with these rules. They are very basic and easy to follow.
